Good to know:
A fundamental rule in order to ensure well-being and development at the ski school is that the lessons run as smooth as possible. This means that during the first days the ski school groups may be subject to change. If you still have the feeling that your child was assigned to the wrong group, do not hesitate to get in touch with your ski instructor.
Weekday ski school groups always start on Mondays. Weekend groups start on Fridays and Saturdays. Late joining of groups is not allowed.
It is recommended that the child shall practice what they have learned during ski school lessons, so that the whole group will be able to progress together.
Tips for parents:
Make sure that your child has eaten something and has been to the toilet before the start of the lesson.
Children taking part in the ski school should be dressed according to the weather conditions of the day.
Are you concerned about your child having a good time at the ski school? You can be nearby to keep an eye on your child during the lesson, but please make sure to be out of sight of the children.
In order to be able to communicate with you, we kindly ask you to be at the meeting point a few minutes before as well as after the lesson.
Meeting points:
”Skidlek”, ”smygare”, ”glidare”, ”fräsare” and ”Teen”* groups meet by the designated sign just outside of the Lodge in the Beginners' Area.
Private lessons in alpine skiing, snowboard and telemark are asked to proceed to the ”Privat”* sign along the large "Skidskola" sign.
School groups meet up at the large ”Skidskola” sign, also in the Beginners' Area.
NOTE!
Equipment is not included in the ski school price. If you don't have equipment, please visit our ski rental.
For a ski lesson, no SkiPass is required. But if you want to ski before och after your lesson, a pre-booked SkiPass is necessary.
